Once upon a time a long ago a pilgrim was passing by Torre a Castello, he felt in love with the place and decided to build his own house.

He found a spacious place on the top of a hill near the village and begun the building. He wrote down his name on the very first brick he made "Gio'".

It is to honour the person that 200 years ago made the place that we decided to mane our B&B "La Casa di Gio'", otherwise knonw by local people "Il Poderuccio".
